They hate Florida juries and they call Florida jury stupid because they take their oath seriously and they're not trigger happy like so many other juries. They actually understand that Beyond A Reasonable Doubt is the highest burden in the entire United States. They actually listen to both sides. Most people just change the channel when the defense starts talking. Ruling for the defense does not make a jury inherently dumb. That level of State worship is unhealthy in a Democratic free Society

  5. That's not how court works. He has no burden to prove his case Beyond A Reasonable Doubt. The state must prove their case with evidence Beyond A Reasonable Doubt. And the case starts with a presumption of innocence. And they must overcome that presumption using only evidence. And so the jurors must walk into the delivery room, by law, believing that he is innocent 100 % innocent, and then from that point look at the state's evidence and ask themselves can they get all the way from innocent to guilty Beyond and to the exclusion of every SINGLE Reasonable Doubt! The reason people are so upset in the comments is that they do not understand what are laws are. Play fundamentally don't understand how court works. So they just superimpose they are flawed understanding of Justice on to a court case and then when the court case comes back in a way that is contrary to their prediction they then go apoplectic and proclaim that, “THE JUSTICE SYSTEM IS BROKEN”'or “WE HAVE THE WORST JUSTICE SYSTEM IN THE WORLD”
