There's no such thing as ‘teen pregnancy’ in the Hispanic community..

So all these billions of people in support of Griselda could not financially support Griselda??? Give me a break.. Something doesn't add up and I don't trust any of them.. Nobody could of loaned her a few hundred dollars??? The sister is over here talking about how Griselda was the love of her life and all the stuff. Apparently you guys weren't close enough for her to feel comfortable enough asking you for money.. The prosecution painted the picture of a woman ALL ALONE and the last person she wanted to turn to was the defendant. BUT she was just so desperately broke and swimming in debt that she decides I'm going to literally serve him papers (take his money by force). Instead of going to my billions of friends and family... Got it..

Even the most fluent speakers of English in the Hispanic community, still speak English with a Spanish to it. It's very subtle and almost imperceptible but even the judge and prosecutor who are very well-educated speak English in a sort of like a phonetic cadence Spanish in substance but it's English words. It's kinda crazy..

That's interesting that they do victim impact off the record.. I mean it should always be off the record.. Instead of having the jury listened to it and then being told to disregard it as far as considering it in their decision..

“Victim Impacts” are tricky because the person giving the impact statement wants to show that they've been hurt so that the defendant feels bad, but: They also want to show that they have not been hurt so that the defendant doesn't feel like they've achieved anything And finally, they also want to impress upon the fact-finder or the poor or the judge that they've been hurt in such a way that the defendant deserves the maximum penalty--while, simultaneously, vocalizing the fact that they were not hurt at all; and that they're living their life just fine--and in fact they're better off NOW than they were BEFORE they were victimized...
