@bamboosho0t my point remains if you're trying to say that making a graven image of an effigy of a human being being tortured on an ancient Roman execution apparatus then yes that is idolatry. But if you take two sticks together and make a cross or plus sign and wear it around your neck to “symbolize” that you are a Christian that is different. That is why Catholicism is filled with idolatry and--standard Christianity for the most part isn't..
