Stop crying about a broken system! You guys are so annoying. How about you go and find out how the system works like I don't know the legislative branch. They write the laws. Florida does not have a parole board. And everyone's crying over Spencer Pearson getting a life sentence.

@hanzdoingthings847 justice system is not broken at all. You get what you vote for.

@danielcundiff290 I bet you don't even know who your state house speaker is. I bet you don't know anything about the legislative branch.

@shazzz1860 the UK, Canada and Australia are jokes compared to the US. They are like maybe the towns of Seattle and San Francisco and maybe New York compared to the United States. They should work on getting a Bill of Rights first...

@DoxieMomCarrie 100 lb of marijuana is an absurd amount. But regardless, people vote for Representatives and those Representatives vote in the State Assembly. In the State Assembly is the legislature. And the legislature writes the laws in which the executive branch is to execute. And the governor gets elected by the people of that state which is a certain electorate. And so ask the social mores of the electorate change with time so will the laws surrounding punishment. 70 years ago it wasn't even a crime to strike your wife. And as the woman's movement made progress that became a crime. So nobody should be crying about the system being broken. Find out who is the governor of your state because they have power over the prosecutors and in many cases they appoint the judges. Put the easiest way to effect change is in the legislative branch. Because all they have to do is write a law saying we're done with parole or there's now mandatory minimums. And that is written into law.
