They weren't real doctors. In other words he wasn't seeing them as doctors. They were friends first. And they happen to be doctors. And so those friends had access to drugs. He was not under their care.. This isn't like a rogue opioid pain doctor. This is like your brother happens to be a physician. And then you guys both go to the club and get high as hell...
