A few corrections Styx. 1) Most people who try mushrooms the first time do not get a good trip unless the set & setting is perfect, meaning you have a sitter, prepared music, foods, free time, privacy & comfortable furniture to enjoy the trip. It's DMT that leaves most people with an insanely good trip, especially since it only lasts 12 to 15 minutes when vaporized & is the most effectively pleasant method of use. 2) Animals can't handle the fungi particles & molecules that make up the mushroom, but when extracted & purified psilocybin/psilocin can be given to any organism on Earth safely without any permanent side effects.
