  2. Your filtered water will still get poisoned by being stored in plastic jugs regardless if they're BPA free. All plastics leach into water at microscopic levels, that can accumulate fast over a course of months to years.

  9. Also they're contingencies in case of an economic crash. Instead of buying useless gold plates and silver ingots, just get them as water vessels.
