  1. We also live in a manufacturing economy, where it's easier to make things that break by the millions than durable things by the thousands. Look at Apple. Nobody wants to repair anything, they just replace it, even with dating. Easier to replace than fix the problem. There's a bunch of apartment buildings that are empty, same for houses, don't even get me started on all the luxury condos with no one to buy them, yet they build more, it makes no sense. This is worse than a bubble.

  2. Even if you buy a mobile home and park it somewhere, there's property taxes and land rights, so they can shoo you and follow where you go like harassment. They want money and will stop at nothing to get it. Another good bet would be to own part of an apartment with other trusted people.
