  1. The problem with the left now is its infected. It's on turbo mode and everything it stood for has gone too far. If we're talking about TRUE liberalism then yes all smart conservatives are libertarians as well, no one denies that. Is there crazy far right conservatives who believe the shit you listed? Of course. Is the left now the same left you refer to when bringing up said smart people? Absolutely fucking NOT.
