  1. About your own kid coming out as gay, I'd probably dislike it quite a bit, but I'd accept it. After all, I should make sure my kid is happy, even if I don't agree with everything. I believe parenting is kind of like walking a dog. You have the dog on a leash, but make sure it can move around freely for the most part. The leash should be a guide, not a shackle.
