  1. I totally get why it'd be banned. If there's pseudo-porn being made and they have a ban on porn, of course the pseudo-porn will get banned as well. Of course, that doesn't mean I think it's right to just straight up ban ASMR, but if they don't have content regulation like that one guy mentioned, then it makes way more sense to just ban ASMR for the sake of simplicity.

  2. 瑩 瑄 Where to draw the line? Well, in this case there was someone who essentially recorded porn as ASMR. They have a ban on pornographic content. Mildly inappropriate things are mildly inappropriate things. As for overreaction, yes and no. We all know why yes, but why no? That's because it's mostly due to ignorance, lack of knowledge. If their only knowledge is of the inappropriate, they'll assume it's inappropriate. However, from what it seems like, it's more that they put a ban on ASMR until sites can properly regulate the content. That's what I've understood from articles on this subject. So that also means that they are not really putting a permanent ban on ASMR. Of course, whether it becomes permanent or not remains to see, but I don't think there's anything particularly wrong with the ban. It's a simple temporary solution, and it's effective.

  4. Pornographic ASMR is just as much ASMR as any other ASMR. So you saying actual ASMR is not pornographic, that's just... not entirely true. Generally it's not pornographic. I totally understand what you're saying, but your word choice isn't correct.

  7. Phillip Morrison an old belief that it's bad for you, basically. Nudity has also historically (although not always and everywhere) been seen as shameful. Also something like "think about the kids" which is just strange.
