Yeah, that's the primary issue with these organizations/initiatives. It just causes friction. I think diversity is a great goal, but it's not something that can be forced.

@FrankHorrigan1998 You only think that because of these horrible organizations. Diversity is more than just generic black character and generic gay character.

@xazarl3381 There are such games, mostly indie games. Some good, some bad. I don't want to argue with intellectually dishonest people though, in other words you, so please don't reply.

@xazarl3381 AAA needs to appeal to as big of an audience as possible in order to make a profit, which has generally meant making safe decisions. It's only with the corruption by DEI organizations that they have made stupid decisions when it comes to diversity. AAA studios have made games with all kinds of characters before. Roland in Borderlands (arguably not AAA though) being the leader of the group being one example. He's not a "black character" but a character who happens to be black. So the thing you're talking about is a recent plague on the gaming industry.

@xazarl3381 I know. That's why I said what you're complaining about is a recent thing. There's good ways and bad ways of adding diversity. They used to do it well.
