@mikev8746 I think that while Palworld isn't polished or particularly unique, what it brought was a great combination of concepts that worked well together and kept the players entertained. That's all a game has to do, entertain the players.

@hododod246 Anyone who has been around for a while knows that Palworld isn't the first to do it. Plagiarism has happened for as long as plagiarism has been a concept. That's why it's a concept in the first place. You're essentially claiming that Palworld invented it, which is ridiculous.

@mikev8746 It shouldn't win any awards for anything, that would be excessive, but the most important factor of entertainment media is to entertain. If it fails to do so then all other aspects are useless. Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is one of the biggest disappointments in my entire game library and can hardly be called well refined. It was a laggy piece of garbage and the only redeeming factor was thankfully the battles, which were also laggy in some cases, but was the only thing it did well. The one thing they barely changed anything about. In fact, that's as if someone took their idea, built garbage around it and released it as a game. Sounds familiar?

@modisp PoE is a game that was made out of love for Diablo. I'd say a love child between Diablo and Elden Ring is the most accurate statement you could make.

@la7era1u54 It's slow paced early on, just like most ARPGs. That's just how the genre works.
