  1. Super glue a small lego to the outside face of the skimmer so that the mold fitted skimmer case doesn't fit.

  2. @Mitch M  lego, any piece of plastic would defeat a desired tight molded fit. Harder type of plastic like CD MUSIC CASE plastic is better. Low temp thermal plastics like DVD cases or milk jugs plastics aren't the best for this idea.
