I think the ADL has an important mission. I don't know that this guy is in an ideological position to achieve that mission. These types of comments will increase anti-semitism. When people like this are the figureheads, it becomes very hard to shut down people cloaking their actual anti-semitism in hate speech about Israel. I am entirely for strenuous criticism, even condemnation, of the Israeli state's current choices and actions. But the fascists are only too happy to start chanting about how "Israel never had a right to exist" or "israel has always been a country of pure evil" and other such crap. And this kind of shit runs cover for them.
