In the situation US is in, you really should focus on your country, which is build on threatening other countries, stealing everything they can through wars, proxy wars, murdering people, you actually live in a dictatorship, but deny it. Your political system is the most undemocratic in the world, and you are the most hated dictatorship in the world, even most citizen in Europe, and countries like Australia, normal citizen don’t like your bullying, this is the mildest word for all your governmental crimes. Your politicians, and their organisations can never atone for their crimes worldwide.
