Big Eugene, l do not understand, what you mean. Do you live in a country, which has been invaded, occupied for 20 years with forced “democracy” on it, have you lost family, friends, fighters, relatives, tribe civilians bombed, robbed.....resources, assets robbed, ...what do you expect the exhausted Taliban fighters to decide in 10 days after the US finally left....because all Western world, and their friends China+Russia want them immediately to come up with most perfect Government suiting all parties tastes. Give them break.

Maybe l am too naive, but l still believe the Taliban announced honestly only an interim Government under the pressure, as it is just 10 days that the USA troops have left, and the Taliban - as Alexander says - are fighters, with little experience to lead a country into a peaceful, prosperous one, as you would just press a button.
The Taliban have lost under immeasurable Cruelty lots of their fighters, families, and relatives, and tribe members over the course of their fighting for Afghanistan as an independent state. So the wounds are still wide open, and many l guess are poisoned with revenge — to me understandable so.
Time and patience is required on one hand, on the other, there is not much time as there are financial, and society pressures to be on a positive road as soon as possible too, to avoid more destruction, starvation, and rising, and spreading of terrorist groups.
I agree generally with the viewpoints of the RUSSIAN AND CHINESE Statements, but l always detest there is no human factor from any outsider. All the war crimes, the immeasurable suffering of affected people is quickly forgotten, put aside, and to me it looks like a chess play of all nations involved. If the Taliban are rushed into making decisions, and influenced, interfered by other nations, it will end up in a civil war, probably already simmering. Interference is too, if no aid is given, when the new Government does not react as expected.
I understand the disappointment of Russia and China too, as they know the whole picture of the current world politics, and how fragile, and vulnerable the situation is in Afghanistan.
I am hopeful, as the Russian and Chinese still have their embassies there, and hopefully too will be in consultation/meetings with the interim government of the Taliban with positive outcomes.
I would like to know, why some of the interim leaders are on the terrorist-wanted-list, as the USA criminals are not on any terrorist list.
See you next time. Thank you for this valuable readout, and viewpoints, arguable statements. I
