I have always disliked Japan’s aggression towards its neighbouring countries, and the brutal conquering wars they fought against them.
Japan in connection with world affairs always chooses the wrong side, and betrayals ASIA, where they belong to.
I think their obsession with Taiwan is, because there are living a million Japanese on this Island, and they would like to annex it, maybe got promised by the US they can have it, when the US and JAPAN win the war against China/Russia, which is unrealistic. The Taiwanese are naive enough not to see, what the Japanese are up to, while pretending to just support Taiwan’s “independence”.
Thank you.

F Quellete, Alex spoke about politics, and Japan’s hostile stance against China etc. He did not say anything about the Japanese culture, and that the Chinese, Korean people love Japanese food, landscape, literature, and music. But it is also vice versa, the Japanese like Korean, like Chinese food, music, Chinese singers, series, movies. Their artists visit regularly Japan. But Japan is also an aggressive, combative nation, which tries always to invade, occupy, and annex other countries, and Island to expand their territory, and are brutal in their means. I despise Japan for this personally, and to me it is an enigma, why as an Asian small Islands nation would always cull with outsiders, in this case Westerners, for personal gain, not considering the negative impact they have on Asia. Between normal people, and the official politics is often a big gap. And obviously past horrible events get quickly forgotten, because new generations have not experienced these horrors, and war crimes. They just see the pop culture.
This is good in peaceful times, but l doubt, the Chinese people would take side for the Japanese, when they try to “defend” Chinese Taiwan, or try to invade China again, which is a bit of the mark.

Tom, l do not think, the Japanese authorities fear China, as China has never attacked Japan, the opposite is the case. I know, you might mean the fear the economical rise of China — but the Japanese are a nation of conquerors, have always tried, sometimes successful, to invade their neighbours. I think, that’s what they are after, they would like to occupy or annex Korea, and at least Taiwan. They are looking into it, how this would be possible by any means. They will use the US as an ally, as the US uses Japan, cat and mouse 🐁 play, but they have their own agenda.

@cmonman4858 Thank you for your explanation about the faith of the Ryukyu Kingdom. China loves Pearls. It reminds me of the Pearl River flowing through Guangzhou, and having a beautiful fairytale attached, why the river is called Pearl river. Guangzhou was the only Chinese City l ever visited by myself, and l loved it there.
About the Japanese behaviour after invading the Island renaming it Okinawa it sounds all familiar to me from the recent history of Korea, which was annexed to Japan, and also had to have Japanese names, speak only Japanese etc. The discussion here that the Ryukyu call themselves Okinawa peoples is logic, as they know not better for over a century. If they have been assimilated by the Japanese, then how would they these days want to be Ryukyu again, while occupied/suppressed by the US soldiers, and get no help from Japan, when they are mistreated by the US soldiers.
I mean, if the Japanese kids learn these days that the Russians have dropped the American A-bombs on Hiroshima, and Nagasaki, then Japanese people are living in absolute denial of true historic, and contemporary facts.
Thank you very much for your little educational excursion. I learnt something new. Take care. Stay safe. 😷🇦🇺🤝🇨🇳🕊🇯🇵

@joeyartk You May see what the Chinese have build in infrastructure in Tibet, but l guess we just disagree.
I do not need to say anymore. There are two opposite sides, l am pro China and Russia, and the poor countries, which need infrastructure, vaccines, food, and no more Westerner wars to “liberate” them. l am totally against the US in the case of Afghanistan, their last war crime at the airport 170 people dead, but they do not count for anything.
I am absolutely outraged about the intentionally spread of the viruses worldwide by Fauci and co., as just now there has been an AMERICAN CONGRESS inquiry were the evidence was provided that the viruses are made in the lab involving the FD in North Carolina. And these experiments were going on for many years reaching before 2001. I am losing sanity, while thinking about the war crimes of the USA.
And l hope, their WORLD DICTATORSHIP WILL BE OVER SOON, and they can concentrate their energy on providing/serving their own people.
I respect your point of view, we all have different perceptions, and experiences in this world.

@joeyartk Sorry, one more thing, there is no Communist country right now in this world. Karl Marx wrote in The Capital in detail, what a Communist country has for values, ethics, morals, and the most important thing about communism is, that every person is equal, deserves to have a home, food etc. but must also participate on working certain hours for the community as a whole. There are NO Billionaires in a communist society, there are no people, who think they are superior to others, because they have more status symbols, things they do not really need...it is a to complex topic to get into the meaning of communism. The Word/Idea has been abused long enough, without people knowing the meaning of it, just vague assumption. Any person, who is a good human being, and wishes well for all people, would not smear the idea of communism. China is on its way to be maybe the first communist country one day, but is far away from it. Have a good day. 🌈🤝🇦🇺

@rockabilly9113 l agree with you, but l am worried, when the Chinese authorities “crackdown” on Their Billionaires, who have made the country, what it is now, then they may can pull it down too, if they get harshly treated, and punished. I have no personal insight, how the Billionaires-Government relationship works, but the Billionaires must have some power too.
I would like to hear, what Chinese Billionaires have to say about their homeland China, about their willingness to share their wealth with the people.
I mean, if a billionaire lives a comfortable, luxurious life that’s enough to me, the rest they can share with the people. Just pondering.
