  1. why shouldn't the Ukrainians move so fast. they have been British trained. In gulf war 1 the British were advancing 100 km a day and captured 3 Iraqi armoured divisions and took 7000 prisoners. The russian army has the same low grade soldiers and equipment that the Iraqis had.

  28. A 30 km advance in one day is a massive achievement. Especially when the Ukrainians are outnumbered and the Russian have had months to build defensive lines. This is another major defeat for Russia. It's interesting when you look at detail of the attack. The original target was changed because they found an easier route along the coast. That's the sign of a professional army that reacts to the situation and exploits opportunities. Meanwhile the Russians stick to human wave tactics and suffer massive losses due to inflexible plans.
