@rw2452 Zelensky's not threatening to attack the US. He's saying that if Trump gives Putin what he wants, it will embolden that little rat and eventually he will go after something that will threaten US security.

@rw2452 You might as say a parent telling their child not to swim in riptides because they could drown is threatening and intimidating. Zelensky is attempting to dissuade Trump from making a mistake that could cause harm both to Ukraine, and the US.

@rw2452: You can't believe Zelensky was threatening to attack the United States. He said himself they have a nice big ocean protecting them. His point is that Trump giving Putin what he wants will embolden him, and that eventually US security will be threatened, too. That's Zelensky's prediction, and I think the US would be smart to listen to him. But we're talking about Donald Trump here, so . . . 🤷‍♀

@rw2452 Yes, and Zelensky was warning Trump about the threat Putin poses to US security. It should be quite clear to all, except maybe MAGA faithful who can't admit it when Trump says something that makes him look bad.

Even so, I wish I had a nickel for every time somebody during the Obama administration warned against the US pulling out of Afghanistan or Iraq because those countries would just bring the war back to the homeland. If Americans were worried about attack from those comparatively tiny nations, they should be terrified of the potential threat Russia could pose- and not just because of nuclear threat. Putin sends operatives out to kill political rivals and people who just speak out against him. He's a rat that walks like a man.

@royalmiko: Wish I had a nickel for every time somebody warned during the Obama years that the US shouldn't pull out of Afghanistan & Iraq, because those countries would just bring the war back to American shores. If two comparatively small nations like that could threaten the USA, then imagine the harm Russia could do if they aren't kept in check. When Putin doesn't like somebody, he sends hit teams into other countries to poison them. There's a lot more they could do to threaten the US than just firing missiles.
