@amishgirl6961 Watched dozens and dozens of news stories about Capitol rioters being arrested and have yet to hear of one being identified by police as Antifa. They are, however, identifying a lot of Trump supporters and white nationalists.
8
Prove it.
4
@Lexi 93 Can we get a name of one of these known Antifa members confirmed by law enforcement to have been at the riot?
4
@grievetan The only corrupt government official in power when this happened was Donald Trump. He tried to overthrow an election to stay in power.
3
People are more open to believing theories about someone on the other side of the political fence. That, unfortunately, is human nature. For the record, though, the claims about W.'s administration being in on 9/11 are as absurd as anything QAnon claims about Hillary Clinton.
3
@RM-jq5vi And that's why the Republicans don't support an investigation into the Insurrection; they know the majority of the rioters were members of their own party.
3
5:12 - "It's not personal, man" says the guy who's part of a mob that's assaulting police officers trying to maintain peace.
2
@ow_ They'll just keep pushing the date of that storm further and further ahead.
2
The Left would hardly benefit from inventing a cult movement that accuses them of such heinous deeds.
2
It's believed by some to be Ron Watkins and his father.
2
@vonsuthoff Yes, after January 6th it can't be dismissed as just a harmless gathering of conspiracy theorists.
2
No evidence.
2
QAnon was present at the Capitol Building riot. Remember the guy in the QAnon shirt leading the mob pursuing that security officer up the staircase?
2
That was Hannity's claim. The Speaker of the House is not in charge of making decisions about security. And Trump should've called in the National Guard when everybody was pleading with him to do something during the riot.
2
Outside the Royal family, I doubt too many people dismiss the allegations about Prince Andrew. But some of what QAnon claims about people like Tom Hanks: this is pretty hard to buy into.
2
Because believing in false claims can lead to real life danger. Example 1: A man walked into a Washington D.C. pizza restaurant and fired off an assault rifle because he believed those who alleged this establishment contained an underground torture dungeon where children were being abused (turned out the place didn't even have a basement). Example 2: January 6th a security officer was chased up a staircase by an angry mob that had entered the Capitol building. The man leading that mob was wearing a QAnon shirt. There are people out there who seek to mislead others with dangerous lies.
2
Wait, isn't Tim Allen a Donald Trump supporter?
2
@MrRaintile re: ''Just because you can be easily deceived does not mean we are.'' That's precisely what people say about QAnon believers, though.
2
@MrRaintile RE: "17 is the only cult I know that makes you think, do research and find the truth." I expect the Scientologists would say the same of their movement. But do you find the actual truth, or just "alternative facts" as a spokesperson working for QAnon's favourite president once called it?
2
@MrRaintile RE: "not a spokes person for anything but myself." But in an earlier post you stated "the ones who attack and discredit it and call it lies..are running scared as Nothing Can Stop What Is Coming." Sure sounds like you're a quoting QAnon rhetoric.
2
@MrRaintile But do you believe there's this Storm coming as QAnons like to call it? RE: "WHO? Is Warren Wilhelm Jr. ? (Good research for NY'ers)" Not from NY so I'll pass.
2
He was president, but he isn't any longer. He could run in 2024, though. That's your best chance at getting him back.
2
But isn't QAnon all about recruitment?
2
@mauriciokrebs2913 Yes, they both need customers if they're to thrive.
2
With regard to the efforts by politicians to gerrymander regions and deny others the right to vote at all: do you ever try to launch recalls on elected officials who do this, or, would you consider sit-ins and human blockades to gum up traffic and public works until such unfair voting purges are discontinued? Seems like just complaining about it doesn't do much.
2
Generally I react to their claims and allegations by calling it Q-A-Nonsense, and when someone says that what the Anons believe is ridiculous, I tend to give that a like. After watching this, however, rather than mocking their beliefs, I will try and stick to just asking Anons logical questions about said beliefs, and hope that their difficulty in providing answers that make sense- even to them- will eventually make them realize what they've been told is false. The narrator is probably quite right that humiliating them doesn't help matters at all.
2
@jcab404 Yes, I totally agree, and QAnon seems to pretty obviously be the brainchild of Far Right fringe dwellers who are willing to say anything (no matter how untrue it might be) in order to gain advantage over the Left. We're not likely to change the minds of extremists like that. It's the people who've just gotten lost in the fog of these Right wing lies, and the Christians who really do want to be on the side of morality- and also recognize that Christianity is not a political party, they're the ones we need to reach out to in this struggle for sanity. Sure can be exhausting, though.
2
It was Trump who refused to call in the National Guard. Pense, trapped in a Capitol loading dock, had to do it.
1
JFK assassination theories are one thing (and they can be fascinating to discuss), but what QAnon alleges is so far fetched that I don't think the two are comparable.
1
confronting delusion with facts and logic is, indeed, a very good approach.
1
I don't agree with any rioters, right or left. They should all be prosecuted for getting violent.
1
They believed the widespread election fraud claims put forward by the con artist in chief, Donald Trump.
1
Yes, please nominate him. That would be big favor to the Democrats.
1
He tried hard to get some of those celebrities to perform at his inauguration.
1
@anladd245 Dream on, Ladd.
1
Give her time. It's hard to give up on something if you want it to be true.

Joe's pretty old, he's not exciting, he suffers a lot from foot-in-mouth disease . . . . . . . . . . and thank goodness he won!
