  1. Why are these variants showing up now? Surely that is a silly question. When virologists such as Dr Fauci and his US & Chinese fellow collaborators at the Wuhan lab, decide to juice up the coronavirus using the novel 'gain of function' research MO, you think there won't be variants popping up here and there?
