First it was the threat of the Soviet Union in the 60s to 80s, after the collapse of the USSR, then it became Al-queda, then Isis, back to Russia again and now China. As long as NATO exist any one and any country is a threat. NATO's bloodlust is very evident and will not cease any time soon....

Actually the whole idea of the sanctions is because Biden's interest in Ukraine's oil company (a seat with Hunter Biden's name on it) is in jeopardy. That is a fact not conspiracy look it up.

@marvinfok65 No the sanctions started during Obama's 2nd term administration. The CIA covertly helped to overthrow the previous govt in Ukraine & afterwards, Crimea formerly in Ukraine seceded to Russia & sanctions against Russia followed. But it did not stop the Germans from going on with the oil pipeline agreement with Russia.

Income taxation is morally wrong in the first place and if certain countries agree not to tax your income if you bring money into their country ad a form of investment that is not a bad thing. There is NOTHING illegal about investing or keeping money in countries that prefer not to collect taxes on your income.Journalists spreading false stories is not heroic.

It is astonishing, so astonishing to the west it as led to many of these countries trying to stop China's rise at all cost through different foreign policies targeted at China. $26billion of Australian coal used by China for its electricity energy needs can be replaced through alternative cleaner energy sources already been developed in China, e.g wind turbines & large solar power farms The question is, can Australia's economy do without that huge trade loss. It will be very, very difficult because according to the IMF yearly economic reports, China's economy is the only one in the east to witness growth in 2020/2021 not Australia. Expect a recession in Australia in 2021. By the way...HAPPY NEW YEAR.

With all the research on energy technology development and production, why hasn't Europe thought of developing an alternative in case of a crises. In certain regions of India for example, methane gas produced at home from human and animal faeces are used for cooking and heating on daily basis and during winter. These type of energy use can be modified in Europe and serve as an alternative to public supply of gas energy....

This story does not make any sense. Was the British man's activity discovered by someone in the British embassy in Germany which led to his arrest by German police or what?...If so, why was that not mentioned in the story. Surely German police do not have any residence in the UK embassy or was the Russian spy being watched by the German secret police?
