  1. Why should the courts be concerned about the best interests of the children, in divorce cases. The courts did not bring these children into the world, the parents brought these children into the world. So, it shouldn't be the decision of the courts to decide what is best for the child/children. Leave that to the parents concerned. The courts should simply focus on assets sharing and which parent deserves to have more than the other. Both parents can decide what is best for their children after divorce. If they cannot after a certain period of time, they both should be prosecuted/fined.

  4. I don't think they thought it out properly before passing it into law. It can only lead to further division among couples and men not getting married in the future. Similar cases already exists in the West and is not working. This is certainly not a way to boost China's population growth. It is just a bad idea, smh.
