  2. Additions: She slipped up in the UK deposition by admitting she tipped off TMZ. She was the one who hit her sister, yet blamed it on Johnny. She claimed that Johnny held the dog outside the car window, yet there was a video showing that she was actually the one who did that. I'm so glad someone put this list together. I thought the juror put things a little too mildly, saying that they were both abusive, that Johnny came across a little more credibly, etc. WHAT?! No! Amber perjured herself a thousand times over, there was clear evidence of her physical and psychological abuse, and her bad acting on the stand was utterly ridiculous.

  4. My friend's son died doing this over 10 years ago. This really doesn't have anything to do with TikTok specifically. Many parents want to release their anger somewhere, and sadly, sometimes it's just a terrible accident. I can only imagine the gut wrenching heartache they are experiencing. If only children understood that there's no going back. 💔😥💔

  6. ​ @hahalove47 That's partially true. If a patient in the US doesn't have the money to pay for hospital bills, then the government covers it. Very, very few people would be able to afford a 5 year hospital stay. I guarantee that this mother could not afford it. Her daughter is undoubtedly on government assistance. My bonus son was in a horrible accident and was in a coma for months. He was in the hospital for a year and still gets multiple types of therapy. I don't remember exactly, but the total bill ended up being over $3 million. We didn't pay one dime. We have done all kinds of extra things for him, but as far as medical expenses, they were all covered.

  11. ​ @bobloblaw9679 I wouldn't either. I already know that none of my 3 children would want to live like that. My stepson went through something similar, but it didn't take 5 years to wake up. He almost died 2 times after that, and we decided not to pull the plug because he responded. He wanted to live. It's a very personal decision.

  13. Until we hear more about it, we don't know the effects of the religious and psychological brainwashing that he experienced. He might have very well believed that he was doing 'the right thing". If you've seen the interviews with some of the other men that Jodi "counseled," you'd know how deep the trauma goes.

We are at our most vulnerable in the hospital, often alone. Just having a pleasant interaction with anyone means so much.

  17. I hesitate to use words like "fault", as their lives are shattered, but this game has been around for many years. It really has nothing to do with TikTok, but it's common for grieving parents to focus their anger somewhere, even if it's unfounded.

Literally everyone noticed the same thing. 🙄 Also, no, most people weren't thinking that the abuse was mutual. There was TONS of evidence to show that Johnny was abused and zero evidence to show that Amber was. It seemed clear to 99% of the population that Amber is a narcissistic abuser while Johnny is likely an empath.

  22. What a relief that she came home safely. While it can seen heartless for LE not to get involved in some of these cases, they can only go by evidence. Considering she had run off several times before, that would understandably be the conclusion unless there was something suggesting otherwise. It looks like they were right. At least in her case, there was a good ending.

I have never said anything like this before, but when hundreds of people take something like that personally, it comes across as weak and juvenile. We're all individuals and should be viewed as such. This wasn't a personal attack on you, yet you're acting like a victim. Unless you grow as an individual and quit seeing yourself as your ethnicity, you'll continue to go through life seeing yourself as a victim. Do you really want to live that way?

Why would you think that two women (I realize she made that up) represent everyone of the same ethnicity?? Why lump yourself into that category? Wouldn't you like to be seen as an individual, especially considering everyone is different? If certain people were scared to go into certain residential areas, then that's on them. We are wired to be cautious of potential threats due to evolution, so it's understandable to be afraid at times of unrest. The more we acknowledge that we're all individuals and act accordingly, the more we will evolve in that area. Would you consider just thinking about what I'm saying? I am speaking sincerely as I care for people, and am concerned with all of the unnecessary racial division that's been reignited.

  41.  @MoonstonePlains  Where did I judge her? I was simply disagreeing with that original comment/claim. I said absolutely nothing about the mother's decision. I'm not sure how looking at things from a natural perspective can be seen as negative. Personally, I think seeing things from a fantasy view (supernatural) is negative. It lacks empathy and minimizes the pain of serious situations. It's interesting how only one perspective here is allowed - a supernatural one, which has no basis of fact or proof.

  42.  @Thesilvercrayon  I'm simply pointing toward reality and don't mean to add any negativity. I just think it's heartless to tell people that horrible things happen for a reason. Personal testimonies are not objective evidence. It would be like me claiming that my prayer to a different god was answered. Believers of all religions have the exact same claims, so who's to say they are wrong? Confirmation bias is a very real thing when it comes to beliefs.

I really think that trying to say "positive" things to someone who is dealing with a heartbreaking situation bypasses empathy and lacks compassion. It happens all the time here in YouTube comments as well as everywhere else. Sometimes it just gets to me. You're totally right - there is no evidence for the supernatural, so there is no reason to assume it exists. It's refreshing to hear you admit that and go onto explain that you still believe there must be something that created this existence that we know. That's an honest perspective. I'll bet if you learned more about cosmology, you just might change your mind. 😉 I didn't know anything a few years ago and have learned SO much since then. Do you have much knowledge in that area? It's totally fascinating. I can understand how people believe in religion because thinking about the universe can be overwhelming. Indoctrination plus cultural beliefs play an enormous part in our beliefs. That's why we'd most likely be Muslim if we were born in the Middle East and Hindu if we were born in India. It's scary for many believers to question their beliefs. I'm glad I was able to. Life is so much better. ✌️

  44.  @keatonbailey1911  That's an interesting assumption. I was a believer for over 40 years until I studied very deeply into the bible, including how it came to be. After discovering there is no evidence for any gods, everything in life makes perfect sense now. I've never felt more free and happy. In fact, I ended up with a deeper appreciation for life, a greater awe of the world and interest in learning more. Unless believers are willing to step outside the bubble and question their beliefs, they'll never know what else is out there. I'm very happy I did. Life is grand. 🙂

  45.  @CatherineBrown2518  While swimming lessons are necessary when having a pool, they can be a secondary safety measure. A locking fence is a FAR better safety measure as it prevents children from even being able to get near the pool. I'm in California also and everyone I know with a pool has a fence. No doubt those statistics would go WAY down if safety fences were used, at least to prevent at-home drownings.
