  7.  @purpleglitter3926  First of all, I love purple and I love glitter. Lol. Secondly, anyone can make an assertion about anything, but in order for it to be proven, there must be evidence. There has never been evidence to support the idea the supernatural. Religion was man's attempt to try to make sense of the world around him (lightening, thunder, floods, death, disease, etc.). Religion is a very antiquated and barbaric way of looking at life.

  16. This is a beautiful, touching story and I don't want to take away from that, but couldn't help but notice something. What does it say about our education system that here she is with a doctorate, one of the highest honors, yet hasn't been taught proper grammar. It's nothing personal against her. She is a hard working, lovely human being. This is to point out one of the many gaping flaws in our education system. Daily, I hear college students make the same grammatical errors: "For her, raising my brother and I..." It should be: "For her, raising my brother and me..."
