Wouldn't this make a fun ongoing show? Like maybe 3-6 different people could find their doppelganger throughout the show.

Their face shapes are different, but according to the computed data, there are striking similarities. They could very well pass for fraternal twins.

I thought they would find out they were related in the end.

I had a similar thought. I'm 50 now and it would still be fun, but it would have been more fun when I was in my 20s or 30s. Darn it! LOL

@ChicagoLove I prefer reality TV shows (real people, not Hollywood drama type). I wouldn't mind volunteering to go first. Lol

@FaithandNova Actually, the professor didn't mention God. He was looking at the science behind it. One reason for some of the similarities is ethnicity.

No doubt the facial hair and glasses add to the look, but according to the computer imaging, their features are as similar as some twins.

What an incredible young woman. She comes across articulate, soft hearted, others oriented with a great personality to boot. Hoping things have settled down. ❤

I sure would love to see pictures!

@christinewigley2206 I don't know what is meant by "Christian name", but neither Violet nor Joy are my given names, just my favorite color and how I feel. 🙂

That's very different. A prime minister is a public servant who holds an incredibly powerful and important job, which affects millions of people. Also, there's a big difference between saying, "Each action has a reaction, and there will be consequences", and something like, "I'm going to murder you". This wasn't about her life being seen as less important. It was appropriate interpretation of the law. If strict restraining orders were given for everyone who said things that weren't direct threats, half the world would have a restraining order. While it's incredibly heartbreaking that she was murdered, it's important to look at these situations from a logical point of view.

@christinewigley2206 I'm so sorry to hear that. I can't say I had a happy childhood, but I am at peace now, so I am happier. Hopefully you have also found joy in life. ❤

@Morgainell Then you would also disagree with the computers.

@RazeZeroOne I must have missed that. Papa Smurf twins = 😂

@carrier7399 Exactly. In other words, they look like they could be sisters.

@aprilmoore2917 When you meet up with each other, maybe you could have a friend record your meeting and post it. Please share the link with us. 🙂

I'm not convinced "God" makes the effort to show his sense of humor by making certain people look similar rather than making the effort to keep children safe from kidnapping, torture and murder. I mean it might sound like a cute little idea, but when looking at it from a logical viewpoint, it doesn't hold up. Sorry to burst the bubble.

@christinewigley2206 So you were abandoned by one parent and maybe didn't get the gentleness from your dad that children need. So sorry to hear that, but how nice to have made amends when he was older and to have continued some of the same parenting that you found valuable. You were married for 20 years?! I was also! I had a terrible marriage, but am now remarried to a nice man. It is 11:30PM here in California. 🙂

@AlterEgo373 It's not about an excuse. It's common sense.

And both of your names start with "A".
1
@carmenismyname I second that.

@franceswalker2627 It's technically not an opinion but an unsubstantiated claim. There is no evidence for any gods, but we believe what we believe.

@christinewigley2206 What a lovely surname to have! I'm curious what a "Christian name" is. I haven't heard that here in the US.

@christinewigley2206 Very interesting. ❤

Angry Hippo Oh how fun! I will check it out. Thanks! 🙂

@christinewigley2206 I really appreciate the heartfelt reply and am so happy to hear about the relationship you have with your first love. How unfortunate that his family has not celebrated in his finding happiness. I have a feeling they are missing out on being in your life. You seem like such a sweet person. ❤

I am shocked by your comment and equally shocked that so many supported it. I was just thinking of leaving a similar comment, but now I don't have to. I'm also sick of seeing women in situations like this being seen as heroes. No. Watching your husband abuse the children, and knowing the children are watching you being abused is another form of abuse. It's horrible that this woman was murdered, but to call her "brave" is not only untrue, it's also unhelpful. It would be better to share information about how to get help and support, encouraging these women to leave the relationship. Considering them heroes is basically supporting the idea that staying in the relationship is the best choice.

@Melissa Alvarado To be fair, you don't know if her mother realized the children were traumatized further by staying in the relationship. Also, I was born in the 60s and remember very vividly my mom saying that, since she knew what it was like to grow up in an abusive home, if my dad had ever shown one ounce of abuse, she would have been out of there. Most people have somewhere they can turn.
