  2. Each incident is different and there really isn't a clear way to respond. Sometimes it'll end better to help and sometimes not. The couple probably wanted to help the girlfriend, or at least it seems that way.

  3.  @zzyzxRDFwy15  It's a really unfortunate situation. I'm sure he wishes he would have handled it differently, but you never quite know what you're getting yourself into. I know there's no way I could ever just drive on by and not help someone who is stranded in the water. But, I also realize it's a gamble.
