@Warcodered01 There are laws against such things now. There is no way to enforce a certain way of thinking, only ways to enforce laws... and the laws have drastically changed in the last hundred years.

@lorriestarosta7602 Happy Days was my childhood. 🙂 I second everything you said!

I'm genuinely surprised that Dennis Praeger, who no doubt considers himself intelligent, would suggest such a childlike view of the 10 Commandments. Does anyone find it interesting that he claims the 10 Commandments could never be improved upon yet half of them do not deal with morality? Also speaking against rape, torture, abuse, and slavery are all missing. Are all of those okay then? What about animal or child abuse and torture? Baby rape? Also, I wonder why God gets a pass for committing or commanding murder? He has killed millions of people, according to the bible, and will torture billions forever. He commanded the slaughtering of countless animals and human beings. Why is that justified?

I honestly got chills with his ending remark. I was on the edge of my seat, wondering what he was going to say... and he slayed it. 👏👏👏

He's been speaking in casual public settings. He was just recently at the #walkaway rally in Hollywood the other day.

@dianahendricks-higgins8749 It was from a year ago. She had him back recently too. 🙂

@dianemarks7159 I just looked it up to send you the link and realized I had made a mistake. It was a clip that was posted a week ago on another channel from this interview. I thought it had been filmed a week ago. Sorry about that!

Not necessarily. Some of us in blue states aren't blue... hence the move.

Imagine what the political climate and overall attitude in the US might have been if he had been president. My guess would be positivity, gratitude, and unity. Look what it is now. What a shame. What a loss.

Right from the start, I find a flaw in thinking. He said that protests about Floyd's death are justified. I disagree for the following reasons: 1. The officers have already been arrested 2. There is an assumption of guilt Many facts came out after the public outrage. It would be appropriate to wait until the facts come out before jumping to conclusions, and therefore jumping to protests. From what has come out so far, the officers actions were in accordance to local law. They had no way of knowing that Floyd's health was as critical as it was at that time. And lastly, not one shred of evidence has come forward suggesting that race had anything to do with it. Maybe facts will come out later to show the officer or officers were in the wrong, but for now they should be considered "innocent until proven guilty". They're already been tried and convicted by the media and the public at large.

1 correction: we don't know if Chauvin used unnecessary force. That hasn't been concluded yet.

@interdimension-fc6lt Making assumptions is common, but is also extremely faulty. We should keep in mind that we saw one small clip of one angle without audio. Since then, others have been released showing a very different story - the main officer was concerned about signs of excited delirium and was holding him down partly for his own safety, which is proper protocol. He was being monitored and was able to move his head, which lines up with the autopsy results. He did not die from asphyxiation, but had a legal dose of drugs in his system and was already showing signs of cardiac arrest before even lying down (which he requested). He was in extremely poor health, which the officers wouldn't have known by the looks of him. Potential jury members are asked if they already have their mind made up for a reason - because it is unfair. Jury members should be unbiased in order to come to the most fair decision based on all evidence provided. Only viewing one piece of evidence can often paint a skewed view of reality.

@kevinmckeever7653 I'm not sure why this video was linked?

@kevinmckeever7653 Yes, of course I'm trying to be skeptical. We don't have all of the facts, but we do know some that weren't reported at first. Only a select clip was chosen, most likely to support a certain narrative, which caused an outrage. It's wise to avoid jumping to conclusions when we don't know the whole situation. Did you watch the extended clip that showed Floyd having difficulty breathing and asked to lie down? Are you familiar with excited delirium? Are you a police officer? It's all too easy to publicly convict someone and destroy their life by making assumptions. I'm not saying I know exactly what happened, but so far the evidence points toward the officer doing his job according to proper protocol. And there has been absolutely nothing so far to show this was race related. What was the point of that video you linked?
