  2. I'm not sure I've ever seen a crazier situation. Calling an ambulance while AT the hospital. Clearly she was not in critical condition or anything, but this could have ended badly. I'd LOVE to hear what that cop was thinking.

  3. ​ @electricwarbaby1 I've always been confused by comments like yours. I almost guarantee kids like this were spanked and maybe even worse. There are more appropriate ways to teach children to respect those in authority. I'm not sure why some people think physical punishment is the only way. It's been proven over and over again to cause more harm than good.

Before you stay on your high horse thinking you're better than everyone else, how about you go learn about your religion. What objective evidence do you have for your particular god? Because NONE has ever been shown.

  9. It's so ironic how the Christians in this string are super rude, arrogant, and short tempered. I haven't seen a kind comment yet. Why? Are you that insecure about your religion that you feel the need to lash out? All religions are man made and have absolutely zero supernatural evidence. What else do you believe in without evidence? If you'd really like to learn the truth, check out the history of the bible. Most of the stories are copies of stories from other religions that came BEFORE Christianity. So rather than attacking people for questioning your beliefs, how about go learn about your beliefs first? *See Richard Carrier or David Fitzgerald.

  11. Update: Herbert soon got into more legal trouble after this court appearance. He actually died in 2020 from a gunshot at only 28 years old. It's sad, but not surprising that he didn't learn his lesson.

  12. I've never been interested in taking any drugs and would be WAY too afraid to anyway. There's no way of knowing what's in it or if you'll survive. It's sad these kids can't just have fun playing in the pool, dancing, talking, etc.

  15. 100% agree. I remember picking out a modest diamond ring when I was married the first time and never felt right about it. I sold it for the value of the gold after my divorce. The jeweler said the gold is the only thing of value. This second time around, I picked out a CZ and am so much happier with it. Diamonds are such a waste of money.

  18.  @CorinnaD  Do you think the child wasn't being spanked at home? I would bet my last dollar that he was. In fact, prisons are filled with criminals who were spanked as children. There is absolutely no evidence to suggest that spanking helps children. There are far better ways of guiding and correcting children than causing pain. In any other scenario, it's considered battery. There was probably a lot going on in that home, the concerning being a lack of spanking.

Hitting it's an extremely immature way to handle children. There are constructive ways of correcting and guiding children. Hitting is not one of them.
