  1. 100% agree. I remember picking out a modest diamond ring when I was married the first time and never felt right about it. I sold it for the value of the gold after my divorce. The jeweler said the gold is the only thing of value. This second time around, I picked out a CZ and am so much happier with it. Diamonds are such a waste of money.
