To be fair, she actually was blatantly rude. She rolled her window up on him, mocked his thinning hair, flipped him off...

Whoever is interested in the first case, this is what I found online: The investigation was turned over to the feds since it was a conflict of interest. The feds did not find criminal action, so did not pursue charges. The officer was fired for misconduct and was not allowed to receive unemployment. Backstory: Evidently, the boyfriend had been arrested before, and her parents were very concerned about the emotional nature of the relationship. The parents discouraged their daughter from dating him only to walk in on them having sex in their home. (She might have been underage at that point in time). She did say she wanted to kill herself if she couldn't be with him and immediately moved in with his parents. Of course, the father handled it ALL wrong, but nothing pointed toward race, despite what hundreds here wish was the case.

@benbrown5868 It was all over social media since the original video went viral.

You guys make up your own reasons why people get the sentences they do. He didn't get that sentence because he has money or is black. He pled guilty. A sentence like that is not unheard of for vehicular manslaughter.
33
He got off easy. He had the nerve to complain, too. Dude, if you'd quit breaking the law, you wouldn't get pulled over.
30
The secondhand embarrassment is strong. 😳
29
@nicb7350 What a dumb reply. Hopefully, you're just trolling. It was clearly explained that it was part of a plea deal.
22
Someone in the comments explained that they're trained to use those exact words and not beat around the bush. There can't be any question as to the information they are presenting. They are offered grief counseling afterward.
15
@NeilusNihilus It saves a lot of time, money, and unnecessary trauma for the loved ones of the victim
14
Good for him.

Each case should be looked at individually. There are many different factors that can affect sentencing - criminal history, different charges, different attorneys, different judges, etc.

Lol

The black lives matter sign behind the drunk black principal is almost comical. It's interesting how some people only see skin color.
7
What a totally senseless tragedy. None of them cared at all.
7
And this poor girl being taken advantage of by her favorite teacher. 💔
6
@OvertureBuilds I've seen countless DUI arrest videos of "hot" girls who are straight up ugly inside. She's lucky she didn't kill anyone, but she did seem like a nice girl. The way she handled herself during the arrest says a lot about her character.
6
@Maebyte I guess you missed the part where I stated that the father handled it ALL wrong.
5
@soulscanner66 I wasn't suggesting what should or should not happen. I was just responding to the comment saying that she was subtle with her insults rather than direct. She was definitely direct.
4
@KatalinaAudios444 Age of consent laws differ from state to state, so I'm not sure what they are in this case. Just to clarify, I do not support the way the cop handled the situation at all. Not only did he misuse his power as an officer, but he was out of control in general. I was just sharing some background on the situation, especially since so many people like to jump to conclusions.
4
Imagine the assumptions people would jump to if they heard the first girl screaming that she was being assaulted by officers. Yet another example of body cameras supporting officers instead of the other way around.
4
@FUNNY02100 But that's fantasy thinking. There always have been and always will be people who do really bad things.
3
I'm just curious if there are any valid reasons NOT to have cameras in classrooms.
3
@jacklow9611 Where did you get the idea that this had anything to do with race? I read some articles and evidently, the boyfriend had been arrested before. The parents discouraged their daughter from dating him only to walk into them having sex in their home. She might have been underage at that point in time. She did say she wanted to kill herself if she couldn't be with him. Of course the father handled it ALL wrong, but nothing pointed toward race. I'm not sure where you came up with that idea.
3
@kerrypearce4264 Exactly. She was nauseating. What a horrible person.
3
That's not an example of how money affects sentencing. If you believe that, then you'd have to dismiss the many times other average folks got the same sentence. He pled guilty.
3
Cameras in the classroom?
2
Imagine if that first lady had been a man. She said she liked them young, flirted with the young guys, complimented their looks, etc. Yet, I Hansbrough seen one comment about her here. 🤔 Gender bias.
2
@alter112 If I remember correctly, it was for drugs, but don't quote me on that.
2
These are all perfect examples of the many times that black people claim they are targeted. They broke the law and all got off easy. That "rapper" was lucky he wasn't charged with threatening the officers.
1
Extremely immature and foul-mouthed. She wants to be a kindergarten teacher??
1
@renofheavens5890 I couldn't find anything online about how she died. But, she evidently had money for drugs because she was later arrested for meth and heroin while again shoplifting from another Walgreens.

@miked8249 lol

I was shocked to see the coach uncuffed. At the very least, it seems like he should have been cuffed in the front. That Alison is extremely immature, self-absorbed, and has no business working with children. It's obvious that she keeps company with similar people. They were all treating it like a big joke. Imagine if she had killed someone. It's all fun and games until it isn't. It's rather ironic to see the sign right behind the principal who was driving while plastered. I cannot imagine that woman on the job. I'm going to bet that she isn't a whole lot different when she's sober.
1
@WolfODonnelfan Most people compare totally unrelated cases instead of looking at the details of each case. In your case, it's good you got off since that's such a minor offense.
1
According to information online, the investigation was turned over to the feds, which found no criminal actions. He was fired, however, and was not allowed unemployment income.
1
@jacklow9611 It's possible, but there's no reason to assume that was the case.
1
Lol
1
@kenishahammond3935 There are details that we aren't privy to.
1
I'm curious if you can think of a reason why they shouldn't be in classrooms. I've thought about that before, but couldn't think of an argument against it.
1
@christinaburney5935 Yeah, that's understandable. I was just wondering if there are any negatives to the idea.
1
That news anchor showed her true colors, which is probably very different than what she shows on TV. What a straight up horrible person - arrogant, entitled, arrogant, rude, arrogant, disrespectful...did I mention arrogant?
1
That's not why. It was turned over to the feds who found no criminal action.
1
@laurelbozman6997 💯
1
If she had been a man saying those things and acting like that, he would have been called a pedo perv.
1
@JimboJeem I'm not sure why you felt the need to try to insult me. I was clearly responding to the comments mentioning that his light sentence was due to him being rich and black.
1
@jillijane9793 Where did I say the justice system is always fair? I was simply pointing out that people love to claim all kinds of things and jump to conclusions. He didn't get a light sentence because he's rich or black. That was my point. There's a lot more that goes into sentencing. I'm not saying it's always fair. It's just not helpful to make stuff up.
1
@Dsavon5813 You must have missed the part where he pleaded guilty. 🙄
