  4.  @SilentSaver  I responded the other day, but my comment disappeared. I understand the laws, but no matter what, he didn't have to get violent. He was using that landlord, which is basically stealing from him. Of course he should have just followed proper landlord protocol to get a tenant evicted, but the guy could have been a decent human being and not pushed an older man down the stairs.

It's horrific. I'm so sorry to hear all that you went through. Hopefully, you received support/therapy and are doing well now. 🤍

  14. @nicamy8988  I looked into it last night after watching this and realized that I had seen some of the footage of the group of teens walking down the street. Evidently, they were harassing an elderly couple, and the firefighter told them to knock it off. The teens attacked him to the point where he needed over 24 stitches, and his teeth were knocked out! These kids are heartless.

The fact that the landlord gave him so many chances shows his true character and the fact that the tenant didn't pay and then violently shoved the landlord that helped him shows his true character.

  19.  @spurnation49  Of course he can do that. Not legally, of course, but he did it anyway. Like I said above, he should have gone the legal route, which can unfortunately take forever, but he didn't. More important is the way the non-paying tenant handled it. He killed the guy.

  25. You must not be familiar with the situation. A group of teens was up to no good and were harassing an elderly couple who were walking down the street. An off-duty firefighter told them to knock it off and was attacked by the group. They're just showing their support.

  35. This happened directly in front of their fire station, so they didn't have to go far. The gang of kids attacked the off duty firefighter. I don't see any problem with showing support of their "brother". It would be the same if a group of students came to show support for the kids of he had been the one attacked.
