So you can see why I would take it literally. I already explained how in my first comment. I don't mean I threaten your lives or your god. You have that opportunity to make that jump and make your choice. However also not making one is perfectly viable as well. Joining the Church of Satan is not necessary to call yourself a Satanist. Same with The Satanic Temple. It is all about being your own person. The weaver of your own fate and master of ones own life. Satanists are born, not made.
