  1. Most of us know, it's how we grew up. I'm 69. I only knew of ONE mom who worked, she was a nurse. Other than her, ALL mom's stayed home (many hated it). I knew of mom's having nervous breakdowns and going away for break (mental institution). Woman started taking tranquilizers. Yes, life was more affordable, but staying home raising children is a very hard job. Do that by yourself when you're married to a man with PTSD from war. It's not all about the money.
