After his acting career he made his life about recovery, and not for just himself. He only GAVE, he did not take. He cared about other's suffering. You need to get your information right. Not ALL rich people are bad. A doctor put Perry on barbiturates when he was 2 weeks old. He had cholic, so they drugged him. I believe this is what caused Perry to develop into an addict. He was a good man who cared about other's and what he left behind are people who loved him for who he was. That's why he's getting attention. He was loved❤

100% wrong. Matthew Perry was successful. He hit the jackpot with Friends and other works, including giving lectured and writing a book. When Perry was 2 weeks old, a doctor put him on barbiturates to sooth his crying. I believe this altered Perry's brain which set his path towards becoming an addict. It destroyed him and he did everything humanly possible to find peace and freedom from his suffering. He spent his money, millions on seeking help. He donated a home off the coast of California as a meeting place for addicts to hold their meetings. Not all famous or wealthy people are bad or selfish. Matthew Perry was exceptional and he's getting this attention because he left his fortune to people who deeply loved Matthew and what he stood for. They knew him. He stood for finding refuge for those who suffered and struggled everyday of their life from addiction. He was a good man and he is missed but not forgotten.

It's good to hear Perry's death, all of his suffering are not taken for granted. I will never forget hearing Perry say that when he was a cholic baby, two weeks old, a doctor put him on barbiturates. I believe that doctor destroyed Perry's life and set his path for addiction. I think Matthew Perry was an exceptional person whose life was destroyed.

Perry was wealthy and it's because he choose to care so much about addiction, finding a cure, getting help that would make a change in an addicts life is why he, specifically, is getting attention. He also spent millions, written a book, lectured, sought professional help, only to end up dead from an illegal overdose. What a tragedy. RFKjr, a man whose Uncle, a sitting president and his father, who was running to become president were both assassinated. RFKjr became a heroin addict.
