  2. unrelated: what we call the aztec empire was actually an alliance of 3 nahuatl speaking people groups, the mexica, the people from tetzcoco(or texcoco) and the people from tlacopan(or tacuba) and they called this alliance Ēxcān Tlahtōlōyān
