No, quite the opposite. Holland are licking their lips at the lovely 1923 jobs and 42 companies relocated there from the UK last year, as a further 250 are preparing to leave. Brexit means Brexit - jobs and capital are Brexiting to the EU.

@laurejon Ha! The taxes and tariffs will be those the UK pockets following the WTO rules with its unnegotiated bilateral trade deals with various countries have yet to happen. China stormed out of the negotiations for a trade deal following idiotic comments by some wanker in the UK govt', so good luck with that. The UK is also pulling out of the free trade deals signed by the EU with countries like Japan and Canada (the CETA, all those). The UK has agreed deals with only seven of 69 countries covered by EU arrangements. So, following Brexit, the UK's overall trade volumes will be in jeopardy, and there will be little incentive for traffic operators to jump ship from Rotterdam to the UK. And your little internet trade warrior scenario rants about the companies ready to leave the UK would threaten British companies not just in the EU, but in countries such as Japan, where those multinationals are actually based, thus making even more difficult to sign deals. Also, imposing punitive tariffs on EU agricultural products would make food and groceries more expensive for the British consumer (not even considering the other products) in the absence of definitive agreements for substitutions. The UK risks becoming like North Korea.
