A galactic genius like Trump would be catastrophic for Europe. @Brand131 There are countries which have managed to avoid lockdowns (S Korea, Taiwan, Sweden) and flatten the curve at the same time, but that's because the population is compliant with the safety rules and take care not to get sick. If a lot of people in the US (and EU) dispute even wearing masks, then flattening the curve can't be done without enforcing some form of lockdown and even social distancing. Most EU countries have had drastic lockdowns and flattened the curve, as people are indolent.
