I thought it was rather settled way back in 240BC, it's rather a myth that people certainly during the Medieval period thought the Earth was flat, they likely didn't.

Rather they will be saying sodium chloride is a bad thing when its critically needed for the body (even potassium its a form of metal, is quite essentially a muscle relaxant is why a lack of it causes muscle cramping) sodium in its elementary form is very caustic making it a huge irritant and chloride derives from chlorine a toxic element

Mind you (is a thing when taking Instrument Rating (is at the core of the requirement to have an ATP) when flying and navigating purely by instrument and not going by landmarks or references visually IFR vs VFR Instrument Flight Rules vs Visual Flight Rules, think was this hilarious chap named Bob was that his name who babbled on about having a commercial pilots licence when in actual fact he only had a Private single prop licence because he has a class 3 medical cert, wouldnt have a cat in hells chance of being a commercial pilot if he has that kind of a class of medical cert Was this series of videos by think was Kings School a flight school by a couple who essentially the husband said that they have never once found a pilot who can fly a level craft visually always must be by using the VS (Verical Speed indicator) the rate of which a plane is climbing or descending, is not always just for landing either or just plainly descending for whatever reason. My point being a plane can be perfectly level and still end up climbing depending on various factors or indeed descending
