Most people who fight a child molestation or anything revolving a child will fight for it as if their life dependent on it, especially if they are innocent. Instead MJ paid a lot of the allegations off. To keep the ones coming forward quiet. I would question why? " People like you think there in the '93 case think there wasn't a criminal case there was, just when MJ's insurance company paid the suit (defending it would cost far more, yeah get that it looked suspicious). Was since then a law that criminal cases had to be tried before a civil case, just wasn't then though. When they'd got their money they stopped cooperating with the criminal case (the Chandlers), proving was about the money and nothing about actual abuse
