That could probably be possible with a person's limbs but there's little that can be done on the rest of their body. It also doesn't just cause muscle to regrow as bone, but soft tissue as well, was thinking can't they remove the extra bone but it always regrows again and can be a lot worse as a result. Interesting it's autosomal dominant like Familial Adenomatous Polyposis what I have meaning only takes one of the genes to be mutated to cause a said condition (you inherit two of every gene and usually it takes two genes to cause an inherited condition).
