@mrjinks5641 Factually speaking Katie Price had her mansion signed over to the trustee (regarding who a trustee is https://www.thegazette.co.uk/all-notices/content/103573) was due to her being part owner of the property. Her apparently friends bought the rest of it so legally speaking she doesnt own it so isnt hers to lose, all a bankruptcy does however is prevent one from making any kind of financial obligation money they exactingly has can be used for whatever they want or after the bankruptcy has commenced maybe do some reading to understand what a bankruptcy is? I mean whats next one can't make any money during one? Get your head examined exactly

Yes he will have to pay it, are debts which a bankruptcy prevents you from paying after disclosing to the receiver all funds as well as all of their assets to recoup any available money to pay the creditor(s), but court fines (as well as least a few others even including mortgage loans) arent one of them

@willgoodfellow Been popping stupid pills the only reason a DWP will write a debt off is when there's some kind of official error and good luck with that with UC as well as new style ESA and JSA (which the latter is being phased out) They arent written off as a result of a bankruptcy
