I wouldn't be so short sighted about this, in fact usually when bad things happen there's always something good (I don't know for certain with this) but I'd hazard guess that politically speaking when bad things happen some good things come out of them in the end. It's just a case of do you have the patience to wait? "this tactic might work for other sane countries but not in the U.S lol" On the other hand for the majority yeah maybe not lol.
