Aye would forgive anyone for mispronouncing Islay by equal measure, where Finlaggan Castle (or whats left of it) historical seat of Clan Donald (Dohmnaill) Eilean Mór or in English meaning large isle or island (is about 6 places referred to as Eilean Mór pronounced Eylan Moor) is located, the Chief sept of Clan Donald, rather Clan MacAlister being a sept of the Clan, together with however Dougall being referred to historically at least Clann Somhairle (Somerled who was fatally wounded at the Battle of Renfrew in 1164 the king of the isles he's sort of unofficially called)
