Let me start by saying that I am an animal lover and in no way condone what happened to the dog, now that that is out of the way, other than search and rescue, dogs don't belong in law enforcement, they are not Law Enforcement Officers, they are animals trained to attack whoever their Handler tells them to attack, 1 K-9 Officer even admitted to me once that he could not control his dog, and while saying this he was struggling with the dog, attack animals are not safe and should not be used against the public, they are not officers, and while I think it is incredibly awful what happened to this dog, treating it like a fallen police officer is just ridiculous
