  12. My opinion is, silver won't be as difficult to use as gold, in light of daily transactions/purchases. I was born in 1958. My Grandfather was a grocer & coin collector thru the 1970s. His influence on me made me aware of both the face-value of silver dimes & quarters in the 1960s, and the collector's value of silver coins into the 1980s. I figure, the value of $23 dollar silver coins (for instance) will be well known in a 'Mad Max' economy and will be used as currency more easily than $2,000 denominated gold coins.
