@Juicio87 - doesn't know what invasion means -completly disregards the fact that the Nazis believed the Soviet Union to be the physical manifestation of the "international Jewry", it's most potent weapon -completly disregards that the Nazis wanted livingspace in the east for the "aryan race" -completly disregards the fact the the Nazis literally waged a war of extermination against the Soviets which in no way can be called a way to "proctet yourself by preventive action" -Also disregards the fact that Germany suffered from severe oil shortage and had to attack the USSR because it was the only nation they could directly extract resources from But yeah totally a "preemptive war"....

G E T R E K T 905 No they didn't. Their Logistics were breaking down their Armies weren't at full strengh, they were running short on oil and soviet union was starting to outproduce them. The Germans already lost the war in 1941 and I would even dare to say that Hitler doomed Germany from the get go, because Hitler didn't understand economics... The Germans are by no means as divine as post-war propaganda want's to make us believe...
