@IvanM272 Depends on how you mesure cruelty. Because the Nazis were not exatly angels iin fact they are the very opposit of it, evil to the bone. Bit yes Hitler killed less than Mao in total but he killed more people relative to his time in power.

Hitler is DIRECTLY responsible for the death of over 20 million people of which at least 12 Million can be attributed to the Holocaust and indirectly caused the death of arround 50 million europeans. @DogRedful Capitalism is economical individualism as it is rooted in the PRIVATE control of the means of production, thus the private controll of the economy. This coneption is therefore NON-PUBLIC and therefore anti-state. The State is NOT an INDIVIDUAL but a politically organized COMMUNITY on a piece of territory. The state owning the economy can as a consequence not be regarded as capitalism in any form, because the state is the public and the public is the people. If something is transfered from the Private to the public sector in the economy, then that thing has been socialized, that means given to the collective people, which means given to the state. Socialization and Nationalization are synonymous in their semantic content. When one talks about public spending, one is talking about STATE spending; state=public=people (That fromula is technically correct, Fascists, Nazis and Marxists are correct when they make this argument because those are the historical definition of the terms in the context of politics.) "State capitalism" is therefore just socialism.
