he comes from a state where they drink a lot and are very proud of their drinking culture (Wisconsin) and even he is shocked by the alcoholism in Japan

the Jersey guy: "They make, like, rice out here!!" 🤣 Iove his enthusiasm!

@Mechjeb661 I don't read comments that start with "Bro" coz they're always a moronic waste of time

The guy in the Snoopy shirt said older people would not be allowed in any schools in the cities - is that true? I know in France you cannot get a student visa if you are outside of the traditional student age range - a very rigid and ageist way of thinking. People of all ages love to learn and shouldn't be brushed aside because of their age.

Your English is very good. I hereby decree that you can drop the apology at the end of your sentences !

Puerto Ricans all have American citizenship, not sure, but maybe Mone does, too, if he wants to work there. Might need to just complete the paperwork, etc.

when he stands next to the 5'0'' girl he's her height, and when he stands next to the 5'7'' girl, he's her height, too! he is a chameleon 😆🤣 When he stands next to Sora, he looks like he is very tall, about 6 inches taller than Sora. Maybe he uses the old Hollywood trick of standing in a trench or standing on crates depending on the height of his "co-star"!! hahaha!!

I love the guy from Montreal 🔥... and the couple from LA, too, especially when they politely bowed at the end, perhaps a little too deeply, but it showed their good hearts!
27
The vegetarian who talked at a guy nonstop for eight hours and called it a "first date" was surprised when she was ghosted 🤣😂🤣 would love to hear the guy's version of that date!
25
@BondofOblivion all soi-disant "influencers" are like that ... still, he was thoughtful and articulate - the perfect interview subject
22
so, so interesting! Best of luck to the couple and thanks for sharing your insights and personal experiences with us
21
You could say that about any place. The fact that you lump the entire rest of the nation together shows your provincialism and narrow-mindedness. Try to get out more.
20
 @elithurofficial wtf!?!
13
@JDubzDrumz "People just go drinking, that doesn't mean they are alcoholic" the motto of alcoholics everywhere
12
@atrudokht lol there's no such thing! it's an American accent
11
or maybe you're just married to a clod, try not to generalize
11
wow, I was with you the morning you hit 1 million subs and now you have an additional 250k already? that is really incredible growth in such a short time !!!! 🥳
11
he agrees with you
10
 @ok_listen huh??

Live within your own budget. If you can't afford it now, let that be your motivation to save. We can't all do everything we want at the time we want it. In the meantime: study some Japanese at home, research where you want to go, etc. Those things can be fun in themselves! You'll get there one day, and it will be all the sweeter because you have planned and saved for it! Good luck!

and what an ignorant opinion it is!

 @iamsherlocked875 citizenship doesn't require marriage ... he wasn't born in the 1700s
7
love that all interviewees are very opinionated and articulate!!!
6
calm thyself, sweetie - she specified she was from Georgia, the American state ... don't look for trouble where it ain't, it's not a good look on you
6
wtf??
5
good luck to you both! and never forget you deserve each other!!
5
@DaronMacke stoopid comment from someone who has never been to Chicago
5
@Utriedit215 nonsense. You're just projecting your own petty prejudices ... "used goods"?? that's you speaking, sister, not some older generation
5
another great interview!
4
do you imagine people in Japan take a rocket train to go get their groceries? grow up a little
4
nobody's making you do that ... just stop. Most people in the US are not playing the dudetalk game, you need to be more observant
4
Wonderful interviews, Takashii - all 3 so interesting!!
4
23:08 he's clearly talking about racism, I guess you didn't listen to the interview
4
a very heteronormative interview ... I guess LGBT don't date in Japan? not even one, Takashii?
3
because it was so laughably low they would have someone to look down on?
3
That one republican guy whining about how lazy Americans are and that they want everything handed to them hadn't even bothered to try to learn the language in THREE YEARS. That's what I call lazy and disrespectful, ypical republican hypocrit.
3
nice one, Takashii!
3
depends which years ... first years, no, that's not the focus, upper years, yes
3
@yo2trader539 yes, the complaints of racists and bigots are always endless
2
@peterwhitey4992 the assumption that all non Japanese are craven, but all Japanese are perfect little tenants is racist, sweetie
2
@derpnerpwerp lol let's not overanalyze it, a boozehound is a boozehound no matter where they're from!

It's surprising for me to hear a generation of people say, "I'm from America," my generation would never say that, we would say, "I'm from the United States." Calling the US "America" seems a very British thing to do. The same generation I also hear saying "cheers!" when they end a phone conversation and talking about being "at university" instead of the American "in college" - I heard one moke talking about being "in hospital" and we've all heard them trying to say "lovely" every third word like a true Brit. Wow! do they sound laughably pretentious. Where does this aping of Britspeak come from? watching too much Downtown Abbey? What's next? "pip pip cheerio"? 🤣🤣 that's exactly how ridiculous they sound
2
@annunakian8054 you're publicly agreeing with him so I choose to bark up your tree, it's my choice, not your ... if you've surrounded yourself with the dudetalk whassup crowd and don't like it (you say you hate it) find a new crowd, don't just publicly whine, take action
2
 @chinavirus841 yawn
2
The German guy was super cool
2
I wish Yuto much success with his goals here in the US. His initiative is impressive!
2
not buying what he's selling
2
@bbbbbbb51 who said anything about free, sweetie? These language schools aren't free, they're private schools. p.s. education, even public education, isn't some "investment in the young" with the hope of some economic payback over time, it's an end in itself for people all through their lives. You should partake sometime, you sound like you never had any at all!
2
so interesting, Takashii!

That first guy was sweet
